Weezer announced the dates for their 2026-2027 international tour in support of their upcoming self-titled album on Wednesday morning, extending their previously confirmed 32-date North American run into a world tour.
The tour will hop over to Japan in February, followed by a run of European shows in Ireland, the UK, France, Amsterdam, Norway and Sweden before winding down on 1 June at Veikkaus in Helsinki, Finland. The newly announced international leg will feature support from Taking Back Sunday, while The Shins and Silversun Pickups support on the 32 North American shows.
The run is slated to kick off on 12 and 13 February in Tokyo at Garden Theater, before Weezer make stops in cities such as Dublin, Newcastle, Glasgow, London, Paris, Amsterdam and Oslo.
The UK and Ireland leg opens at Dublin's 3Arena on 12 May, followed by Newcastle's Utilita Arena, Manchester's Co-op Live, Leeds' First Direct Arena, Glasgow's OVO Hydro and Birmingham's Utilita Arena. Two further dates will see the band at London's Alexandra Palace and Cardiff's Utilita Arena before the European run begins.
General on sale for UK and EU begins Friday 14 August at 10am BST / 11am CEST. Fans can join the Weezer Fan Club for first access to tickets on Tuesday 11 August at 9am BST / 10am CEST, while UK fans can pre-order the album from the Weezer webstore before 3pm BST on Monday 10 August to get access to the pre-sale.
The North American leg of The Gathering tour was first announced in March and runs from 8 September in Sacramento through to 24 October in Los Angeles. The outing is in support of their upcoming self-titled album, known as The Gold Album, which is out 21 August via Reprise/Warner Records.
Weezer also released a new single, C.E.O., alongside the tour announcement. The track follows earlier singles Shine Again and We Might as Well Be Strangers.
