Previously unseen footage of Oasis performing at Glasgow's Tramway on 7 April 1994 has been made publicly available after fans from the Live4Ever forum bought it at auction in August 2025 for nearly £3,000.
The 30-minute video captures the band before the release of Definitely Maybe later that year. It shows Liam and Noel Gallagher, Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, Paul "Guigsy" McGuigan and Tony McCarroll preparing to go on stage, chatting backstage and drinking beer, as well as footage after the gig.
The fans bought the footage and licensing rights to ensure the rare video was not lost, and are asking other fans to consider donating to split the costs fairly among the community, according to a post on the Oasis Archive website.
The performance opens with Shakermaker before moving through Digsy's Dinner and Live Forever. During Cigarettes And Alcohol, Liam moves from leaning into the microphone with both hands wrapped around the stand to performing in his now-signature style with his hands clasped behind his back. The set closes with Supersonic.
The gig was broadcast live on BBC Radio One as part of the station's Sound City event and was the band's first major exposure on national radio.
The footage collectors said they had kept it exclusive for donors for a period before deciding to make it public. They also released the FM radio broadcast audio from the night alongside the video.
The release comes as Oasis wrapped their Live '25 reunion tour, which ran from July to November 2025. Trade reports say the band is considering further UK and European dates in 2027, though nothing has been confirmed.
