Reports are breaking that Leona Lewis has been hit while attending a book signing at a Waterstones bookstore in London.

Twitter reports from an eye witness says “Someone hit leona lewis at her book signing. omg . I’m being held in store as witness”. Police were called to the scene.

A spokesperson for the Police said ” The female did not require hospital treatment – we are at the scene” .

Update: A statement has been released from Leona’s management saying:

“Leona was the victim of an unprovoked attack this afternoon at her book signing. The police were called immediately and medical attention has been sought. Leona is understandably shaken and apologises to the fans she was unable to meet and complete signings.”
