Camden Unplugged Makes A Welcome Return This Christmas!

With the festive season fast approaching, September probably seems like nothing more than a distant memory, but it will long live in the minds of the staff at Kix Magazine, as the month they launched Camden Unplugged! After the huge success of its launch, Music.co.uk are pleased to announced that Camden Unplugged is back, just in time for Christmas, with another dazzling array of live acts for all you London gig goers.

Taking place on December 22nd at Proud Camden, this months ‘Camden Unplugged’ will once again team up with childrens charity Barnardos to raise funds through a night of music, dance, design and comedy!

Headlining the nights entertainment will be Maxwell D, a supreme talent on the UK Funk Scene, who will be joined on stage by club star Young O, rising Neo-Soul/Jazz/Funk act Daley, and the energetic and stylish Nu Brand Flexxx. If that isn’t enough to get you into the groove, then taking a trip up from the underground will be the Marvell Crew, who will be joined by radio favourite A.L Bennett, and a few other star turns, to complete a great line-up of funky music.

Alongside the music, there will also be the opportunity for up and coming designers to showcase their work, which this time round includes the rather interesting ‘Lyrics 4 Lyrics’, and Chrissiefizz from The Unsigned Fashion Collective. Cutting edge fashion will in turn pave the way for cutting edge dance, from Urban/Hip Hop act Dark Elite, and all girl troupe Kurupt.

And finally there’s just one art form left to mention, and that’s comedy, which also plays an important part of each ‘Camden Unplugged’ event. On the 22nd expect to see, and hear routines from Kat Francois, Kayleigh ‘Loudmouth’ Lewis, and Del Strain.

No doubt all the fun and laughter will raise the roof of the ‘Proud’ venue, so if you can, why not pop along and have a great night out, for a great cause!
