The Wireless Festival takes place each year in Hyde park within London, although in 2006 and 2007 it was held at Harewood House in Leeds. The festival for 2011 ran across three days with different tickets being made available to visitors.

In the first few years of the festival being established many people questioned whether it would be successful, it could be stated that it was searching for an identity. The festival believes that its main selling point is the popular dance and R & B music which it offers to festival goers. The lineup which was offered for 2011 was very popular, especially as it offered numerous artist who have recently been at the top of the charts.

As well as belting out all of their popular well known songs there was also a DJ set in the middle from band member Will.i.am.

The Chemical Brothers were the headline act on the Saturday and they provided some of the most brilliant visuals and beats which some music fans will ever see, many fans described them as truly stunning.
