Shock has hit the music world after a an announcement was made stating that Whitney Houston had died. The music legend was apparently found in a bathtub with sleeping pills close by. Music sensations Houston has died at the young age of forty eight after being found in her hotel room.

Whitney who has been one of the biggest music stars in the world for the past decade has died. Her body was found at 4pm local time in Los Angeles; she was found just a few hours before she was meant to perform at the pre-grammy awards event.

It is being reported that Houston was found in her bath with prescription sleeping pills close by.

Police have revelaed that paramedics did try to resuscitate Houston but they failed.

Whitney Houston was best known for her hit singles I Will Always Love You and I Wanna Dace With Somebody.
