Ticket Touts Cash In on Adele Tour

Concert tickets to see the popular music artist Adele have been changing hands for astronomical prices. Recent sales figures have revealed that some of the tickets have changed hands for more than thirty times the official selling price. Adele is currently on a UK tour but has been forced to cancel numerous dates on the tour due to being struck by a serious throat infection. At one point the singer was ordered that she must not even speak by medical advisors and her management team.

The tickets that have been changing hands for the highest prices are those for Scottish venues. The artist will perform just twice within Scotland and each venue only holds 2500 people. Many people believe that the artist could have sold ten times the amount of tickets that she has for Scotland. Due to the small venues being played there was obviously many fans left disappointed. Those determined fans are now attempting to secure tickets and face paying prices that are well above the original selling price. Tickets were originally priced at £29.50 but one ticket has been sold by the original holder for £840. Adele will perform in Scotland at the o2 academy in Glasgow and the Usher Hall in Edinburgh.

Music industry experts have suggested that many touts have cashed in on the fact that Adele was only playing at two small venues in Scotland. It has been suggested that the touts would have been well aware that people would pay inflated prices to see the artist. It has come as shock to many people that the artist decided to play such small venues and industry experts have stated demand is higher as the artist did not perform at any festivals.

Whilst there is not any doubt that the artist could have sold out bigger venues she has recently announced that she gets incredibly nervous when performing to large crowds. Adele has become one of the biggest music stars worldwide and has been recently awarded with numerous awards.
