Coming from Victoria, Australia, in a quote on their MySpace State Of East London describe themselves as “A 5 piece Death Metal band playing, brutal in your face music that never gives you a chance to rest and a live performance that will have you moving and head banging with every second”.
The band also stated “After a few line up changes and a change in music style, State Of East London are finally where they want to be, and its only going up from here and it will only get heavier”.

On the 13th of January the band posted a blog on their MySpace stating the will be recording their ‘Debut LP’ around mid March to mid April and will state when the LP is ready for release. The band also stated “Stick around; this is by far the heaviest set of songs the band has ever produced. Prepare for pure brutality”.
Songs already available include: ‘The Iceman Cometh’, ‘Lady Of The Lake’ and ‘Bane Of Humanity’.
