Reading and Leeds 2012

The popular Reading and Leeds festival will be held this Bank Holiday weekend; both events promise to be sensational shows. As always both of the events have already sold out and thousands of people will descend on the areas in order to enjoy the festivals.

Fans of the festivals have celebrated the fantastic line ups that have been revealed for the festivals; some of the biggest names not to miss out on at the festival are:

Foo Fighters – The band are no strangers to the festival scene and they have in recent years played at all of the major ones. The Foo Fighters made their first festival performance at Reading in 1995 and since then they have gone from strength to strength.

Paramore – This will be the bands first performance since 2010 and the band will get the opportunity to hear some of the old classics from their albums Brand New eyes and Riot. The band has also promised to play some new material that has never been heard before.

At The Drive-In – The band has recently reformed and will be carrying out a series of live performances throughout 2012. The live performances at Reading and Leeds will be their first in over ten years.

Alt-J – A newcomer to the post-rock market the artist has released numerous successful tracks within the avant-garde indie rock genre. This up and coming artist is currently one of the most talked about within the music industry.
