It doesn’t seem all that long ago that we were marvelling at the delights of stereo’s with DAB radio and I-Pod docking stations. Now Pure have managed to go one better with their latest product launch.
The Sirocco 150 is a world first for the Pure brand, as it’s the first micro system to work with the I-Phone. Designed specifically to connect to both the I-Phone, and I-Pod, it also has all the standard features of a micro system, including DAB/FM radio and C.D. Pure are promoting this product as a compact and stylish stereo system, that meets Apple performance standards.
The product comes with a black and silver I-Pod/I-Phone that will play all your favourite tunes, and charge the device at the same time. For ease of use, the I-Pod or I-Phone can also be controlled using the systems remote control, while song titles are shown on the LCD display. This product also supports playback of Mp3/WMA files from flash memory drives (via a USB port), SD Memory Cards, and C.D’s. To complete the list of features, Pure have also included a headphone socket, and sleep timer/alarm on the Sirocco 150.
Like all Pure products, this one is designed with the environment in mind, and comes with recycled packaging, and less power consumption during operation/standby modes than some of it’s rivals. It fully supports Pure’s ethical eco-plus policy.
Retailing at £149.99, the product is available from all good stockists from June onwards. Pure is said to be the world’s leading manufacturer when it comes to broadcast and internet radio systems, and this product will only serve to add to their reputation.
