There’s always something going on in the music world, which means it can get quite busy and exciting online too. We’ve had details of a few music treats we just had to share with all you music fans out there.
First up we take a trip to Brighton, where lively disco/pop act Kovak are preparing to release their new single ‘I’ll Be Good To You’. The band are hoping to capitalise on recent success, which has included the launch of a Brighton club night, and their songs proving a hit on Tokyo’s popular ‘Good Morning Garage’ radio show. The synth driven, infectious electro sounds of ‘I’ll Be Good To You’ are available to download free from www.myspace.com/kovakuk from July 13th. If you’re lucky, you might also catch a glimpse of not one, but two, quirky video’s that have been made to accompany the single.
If dance music isn’t your thing, maybe you’ll enjoy the latest online offering from indie legends Blur. A sold out U.K tour isn’t the only treat in store for fans, as Blur release an exclusive widget which fans can get via their website. This widget features exclusive clips from tour rehearsal sessions, along with unpublished photos, new information on the band and their album ‘Midlife: A Beginners Guide To Blur’. It’s a must for any Blur fan, and I’m sure it’s brightening up many a social networking page already. Visit www.blur.co.uk to download the widget and get more info on the band.
Do you want more online treats? Ok then, how about a trip to www.bebo.com/beat to view the latest from their exciting new show. Coming up on Friday 19th June, presenter Ben catches up with man of the moment Daniel Merriweather. Hear him chatting on a vast array of topics, from the Queen to Michael Jackson. It’s sure to be a great interview, so don’t forget to tune in. If that wasn’t enough Kelly Rowland, David Guetta, and Paloma Faith also feature in this show. All this and more from Bebo’s must-see entertainment extravaganza!
As you can see there’s plenty going on this summer, so sit back, relax, and enjoy a spot of music related surfing. The possibilities are endless, but don’t stray too far, music.co.uk has plenty more news, reviews, and interviews, and a brand new look, all coming soon!
