Nordoff Robbins Announces Its Silver Clef Award Winners!

It’s nearly award time again, and this time it’s the Nordoff Robbins Charity hosting the event, and they’ve just announced 3 award winners for the annual O2 Silver Clef Awards. Boyband of the moment, and X-Factor stars JLS, will pick up the TAG Newcomer Award, Russell Watson will scoop the PPL Classical Award, and Scouting For Girls will pick up the Royal Albert Hall Best British Band Award. A variety of music is represented there, and to follow on from this, Muse will join the likes of Elton John, The Who, and Pink Floyd, as winners of the prestigious Silver Clef.

Along with the award presentations, the 35th Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef lunch will feature an auction of music memorabilia, and one-off items, and this, along with the lunch itself, will help raise money for the charity. This event is seen as a key one in the music calendar, so many of the charities supporters, other musical talent, and celebrity guests are expected to join host Sharon Osbourne at the Hilton Park Lane for this years event, which will take place on the 4th July.

Nordoff Robbins who run this event, is a charity that has music at the heart of its work, and uses this to help adults and children whose lives have been affected by illness, disability, trauma, or isolation.
