Oasis brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher will tour North America at the end of this year but they will not be touring together. The artist have both confirmed that tours will commence close to the end of 2011 in North America.
Noel Gallagher will be the first brother to tour across the pond and he will display his new solo material. The High Flying Birds tour will be a seven date North American event that will commence on November the 7th in Toronto and will end on November 19th in San Francisco.
Around the same time an announcement has been made by Liam Gallagher that his band, Beady Eye will also tour Northern America. The Beady Eye band is made up of Liam Gallagher and the other remaining Oasis members. This tour will be a nine date North American tour that will start on November 29th in Vancouver and will end on December 10th in Boston.
The announcements of these tours is just another chapter in the long lasting feud between the brothers. The pair have a notoriously difficult relationship and this has been documented heavily within the media over the years.
Despite Oasis splitting in 2009 the brothers have continued to disagree and full scale rants have appeared in the press. Recently Liam Gallagher began a court case against Noel due to statements he had made in an interview but this was later dropped.
The brothers will now battle to have the most successful tour. The debut album by Beady Eye, Different Gear, Still Speeding has been received well by fans. Noel Gallagher releases his album High Flying Birds on October 14th.
