Popular Indie band Mumford & Sons will release their second album on September 24th; this has been eagerly awaited for by many people for months. This album will follow the debut album Sigh No More which was a major success for the band.
The band who are based in London have revealed that this will be the date for the release of their second album as long as they don’t discover it is poor whilst mixing it.
Last week the band confirmed that the recording was completed and on stage at the Pinkpop festival in Landgraaf they confirmed the release date. The band has fans all over the world and they will exceptionally excited to have heard the news.
Their first ever album was Sign No More and this was recognised through a Brit Award; it was also nominated for the Mercury prize and it sold over 2.2 million copies in the US.
The band have confirmed that the second album will continue on the theme of the first album in terms of musical taste and direction.
Mumford & Sons have plenty to look forward to over the summer as they will be holding their own mini-festivals in several parts of the UK.
