Help For Haiti Live!

Help For Haiti Live @ The Roundhouse

Anything Simon Cowell can do, we can do too, seems to be the motto this month, as a team of fundraisers count down to a night of live music in aid of the Haiti Earthquake Appeal. Idea Generation and the team behind Big Chill Festival are hosting a night of live music at Camden’s Roundhouse on Thursday February 25th, to raise funds for Action Aid, and Médicins Sans Frontières, who are still continuing their humanitarian aid work in the earthquake stricken region.

Anyone attending the night will be in for a treat, as a host of top presenters and comedians have already confirmed their attendance, along with some rather cool musical talent. Acts hitting the right notes on the Roundhouse stage include Mr Hudson, I Blame Coco, Brit nominated Seasick Steve, KT Tunstall, The Magic Numbers, and The Futureheads. Joining them on stage for some exclusive DJ sets, are Zero 7, Matt Horne, The Maccabees, and Seb Fontaine/Gareth Geno. Look out for the all star line-up of presenters and comedians appearing in between the musical entertainment too. Rumour has it this list includes Radio’s Huw Stephens, TV’s Miquita Oliver, and from Athletics, Philips Idowu. An already impressive list, but event organisers have said there may be some special guests, and further line-up details to come, along with some video messages of support, from, among others, Jedward!

Tickets are still available for this fundraiser from the Roundhouse Box Office, Chalk Farm Road, London, or by phoning 0844 482 8008.
