Gerard Way has revealed details of a warm-up gig prior to his set at this week’s Reading and Leeds Festival.
The singer will play an intimate set at Wedgewood Rooms in Plymouth on Wednesday 20th August. The show will be Way’s first ever solo set.
At 12:18pm UK time the former My Chemical Romance front man took to Twitter to announce details of the set – with pedals, hormones and extraterrestrials all thrown into the mix.
Tickets for the event will go on sale 9am tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.

Best known as the former front man of rock band ‘My Chemical Romance’, the singer has been working on his first solo album since the group disbanded in 2013.
The artwork for the singer’s first album ‘Hesitant Alien’ was also unveiled on Twitter – with the album due for release on September 20th.
