The London Olympics is one of the most significant events in the UK calendar for 2012 and it will have a huge influence on the music industry. Numerous artists are supporting the Olympic games and are releasing music to coincide with the games.
The Torch relay celebrations will be held in Hyde Park and a show will be held with a bumper crowd of 80,000 people. It has been revealed that the concert that will be held on July 26th will be headlined by Dizzee Rascal.
Other popular artists that have also been named for the event include The Wanted, Rizzle Kicks, Wretch 32 and Elize Doolittle.
The organisers have also revealed that there will be a special one off performance by Mark Ronson and Katy B.
Dizzee Rascal the headline act revealed that he was totally honoured to have been selected for the headline slot. Rascal has been one of the biggest supporters of the London Olympics.
Numerous other UK music stars are expected to be named soon for the Torch Relay celebrations.
