One Direction have added a number of extra UK dates to their first stadium tour, Where We Are.
The band were forced to add the extra dates due to popular demand, with tickets selling out for their 2014 tour in a matter of minutes.
Extra dates have been added to Manchester, London and Dublin.
The band were overwhelmed with the response to ticket sales, and took to Twitter to offer their thanks to their fans.
Harry Styles tweeted: “More shows at London and Manchester are now on sale! 1st June Manchester and 8th June London!! Incredible, thank you! #wherewearetour2014“
Before tweeting: “Gaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh this is insaaane!!”
Liam Payne tweeted: “Thank you so much everyone for making even our wildest dreams come true”
One Direction revealed on May 16 at a press conference in Wembley Stadium that they were to embark on their first stadium tour in 2014.
In the days leading up to the press conference, a website titled ‘onebigannouncement.com’ was set up to count down the days until the big reveal on May 16.
The website crashed at midday as fans flocked to the site to find out what the band had in store. The hash tag #1Dbigannouncement dominated the Twitter trending topics and fans expressed their speculations and hysteria for the upcoming news.
The world tour will being on April 25 in Columbia, and was originally set to come to a close at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland on May 28.
The extra dates mean the tour will now close at Wembley Stadium on June 8.
