Creamfields 2011 Review

Creamfields has passed for another year and the music festival has yet again been regarded as a fantastic event. Selling out for yet another year 50,000 people attended the festival which passed relatively trouble free. All of the big names in the dance music industry grouped together to provide an immense performance to the paying fans. Numerous artists including Tiesto travelled from the party island of Ibiza to perform at the festival. The organisers have stated they believe that the festival is of the best yet and they hope that the festival continues to grow in years to come. It is believed that a number of tickets will be released for purchase for next year in the coming weeks.

All of the headlining acts at the festival delivered excellent performances to the joy of the festival goers. Creamfields continues to attract major players within the dance music scene. The line up this year included Tiesto, Calvin Harris, the Swedish House Mafia, the Chemical Brothers, Annie Mac and Pete Tong. Numerous other smaller and less well known artists also played at the festival to the joys of the festival goers. Many of those in attendance regarded this years festival as the best yet; Creamfields is still regarded as a relatively new festival to many people.

Calvin Harris delivered an astute performance delivering some of his biggest hits. The artist almost missed the festival due to food poisoning but thankfully he was able to perform. His performance of Change The Way You Kiss Me really got the crowd going and many stated he was the best performer of the weekend.

The Swedish House Mafia performed on the North stage to a packed out crowd. All of the biggest tracks were played here and the crowd truly loved the beats which they provided.

The Chemical Brothers continue to be a major hit on the festival scene and they were heavily praised by those who were watching. The duo revealed they hope to continue to perform at festivals for years to come.

The less well known artists who performed at Creamfields 2011 were also heavily praised by those in attendance. Creamfields 2012 is anticipated to be a sell out just like this years event.
