It’s the final countdown, and soon the 2009 I-Tunes festival will be unleashed on the British Public. Running for a massive 31 nights, that’s the entire month of July, the event will showcase some of your favourite acts, all exclusively playing live at Camden’s Roundhouse. The best thing about this festival of course, is that it’s free, so everyone across the U.K has a chance to win tickets.
Although some people have already won tickets, there’s still a chance to apply, so surf over to www.facebook.com/ituneseu to enter your chosen ticket competitions. At the moment, the line-up announcements have placed Oasis, Snow Patrol, Paolo Nutini, Flo Rida, Bloc Party, and Bat For Lashes in the schedule. If you don’t fancy seeing any of those acts live, then there’s always the gigs that have yet to be announced, so keep your eyes open for details.
For all those unlucky ones who don’t win tickets to this year’s festival, have no fear, because all the gigs will be filmed, and available for download on I-Tunes after the event. Not only that, but ITV will be in the thick of the action too. ITV 1 will run two hour long programs showcasing the best performances from the festival, while on ITV 2, Fearne Cotton and Dave Berry will present further live performances, interviews, and celebrity guests. These programs will also be available on ITV’s catch up service online for seven days. All in all, that amounts to plenty of chances to enjoy one of this summers most exciting indoor events.
Miss it, miss out! Don’t forget to visit www.facebook.com/ituneseu or www.ituneslive.co.uk for all the details.
