Many people were sceptical when the singer began her solo career after Girls Aloud went their own ways. Despite winning a singing competition to be part of the group, many people questioned the ability of Cheryl Cole as a singer.

Although since moving to being a solo artist Cheryl has exceeded expectations and her latest single has been a major hit within the music industry.

The singer will be shortly starting a UK arena tour and she has promised that she will be ‘going all out’ whilst on the tour. Cheryl has promised her fans that the shows in the tour will be full of glitz and glam.

The tour comes for the artist after her most recent single, Call My Name, shot to number one in the UK Official Top 40. To make this even better for the artist the song has also become the quickest selling single of this year. Call My Name is the first song to be released of the singer’s new album, A Million Lights.

Cheryl has decided to drop her surname on the album after splitting from her footballer husband. When speaking about the album Cheryl has stated that she is delighted with the work and that it is exactly how she wanted it to be.

The singer worked throughout last year in Los Angeles to produce the album. It is now expected that A Million Lights will be one of the top selling albums of this year.
