Bob Dylan Confirms Nine-Date Tour

Bob Dylan has announced details of a nine-date autumn tour.

The American singer-songwriter will perform nine dates in England and Scotland in starting November this year.

Dylan will play a trio of shows at Blackpool Opera House, the Clyde Auditorium and the Royal Albert Hall.

The newly announced dates follow on from a number of concerts in Europe, including Stockholm, Berlin, Amsterdam and Copenhagen.

The 72-year-old last performed in the Britain at the Hop Farm Festival in summer 2012.

Last year the singer released The Tempest, his 35th studio album which was received with great critical acclaim. The album was described by The Telegraph rock critic as “his strongest and most distinctive album in a decade.”

In total the Grammy award winner has sold over 100 million records around the world.

In 2008 the singer was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for his ‘profound impact on popular music and American culture, marked by lyrical compositions of extraordinary poetic power.’

Tickets for the upcoming tour will be on sale from 9am June 14.
