Bee Gees star Robin Gibb has sadly passed away after losing his battle to cancer. Well known throughout the music world for being part of one of the most successful bands ever, Robin was true music professional.
The family of Robin Gibb confirmed last night that the singer had sadly passed away, age sixty two.
The Bee Gees was made up of Robin and his two brothers Maurice and Barry; together they sold over 200 million records. Some of the bands hits are instantly recognisable; including Night Fever, Stayin’ Alive and Massachusetts.
As well as being part of one of the most successful bands ever, Robin Gibb and his brorthers were also fantastic song writers. During their time together they wrote songs for some of the biggest names in the music business including Barbra Streisand, Diana Ross, Dionne Warwick, Destiny’s Child, Dolly Parton and Celine Dion.
The music world is now mourning the loss of one of the greatest talents ever.
