Scottish girl group – Atlanta – are set to take the UK by storm as their new, much anticipated, hot single, ‘5 Star Lover’, is released. The single has been remixed by DJ Booker T, who had his version of Leona Lewis’s number one hit, Bleeding Love, score massive success. ‘5 Star Lover’ has also had the re-mix treatment from retro supremos The Soulseekers.

Having already seen a successful UK tour, supporting acts such as Booty Luv and Shayne Ward, bubbly-pop sounding Atlanta will play to over 250,000 fans over 10 dates this month and next, all over the UK supporting dance phenomenon Cascada.

Atlanta has five members – Lisa Muir, Carlyn Calder, Julie Chenh, Gill Beattie and Natalie Quinn. The girls have recently completed a UK university and club tour and are filled with excited about their upcoming debut single release. Atlanta have recently been putting the finishing touches to their debut album at the legendary Sarm West Studios in London, where they recorded with the London Community Gospel Choir.

The single has already been picked up by 1xtra and due to the re-mixes the single’s appeal has been widened to attract both hairbrush divas and those hot on the heels of the UK club scene. ‘5 Star Lover’ is available to download on iTunes from 27th October, and is available in stores nationwide from 3rd November.
