The popular Geordie TV due Ant and Dec have taken the number one spot in the Official UK Top 40 Singles Chart with a single that they officially released in 1994. The song ‘Let’s Get Ready to Rhumble’ was a song that was released by the duo prior to them entering the television presenting industry.
Ant and Dec have managed to take the top spot after they performed the single live last week on their television show Saturday Night Takeaway. As a results of the performance fans across the UK have downloaded the single.
In the 1990s the due were known as PJ and Duncan; they had numerous music hits and also starred in television drama Byker Grove.
When Let’s Get Ready To Rhumble was released in 1994 it managed to achieve the number nine spot in the charts but failed to make it to number one.
Ant and Dec managed to reach the number three spot in 2002 with the official World Cup song, On the Ball.
The duo, whose real names are Anthony McPartlin and Decan Donnelly, have revealed that all profits from the number one single will be given to ChildLine.
