Our thoughts today are with legendary composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, who has been diagnosed as having Prostate Cancer. No further details have been released as yet, but spokespeople for Lloyd Webber say the disease is in it’s early stages, and they expect Lloyd Webber to be back at work by the end of the year following treatment.

On a different note Lloyd Webber launched the long awaited sequel to Phantom Of The Opera earlier this month at His Majesty’s Theatre in London. ‘Love Never Dies’ may well follow in the successful footsteps of Phantom, which since being launched 23 years ago has been seen by 100 million people worldwide. Lloyd Webbers other successful hits include Evita, Starlight Express, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
