The frontman of the Arctic Monkeys, Alex Turner, has revealed that he feels like he has lost his touch. The band have been quiet in recent times and many of their fans have suggested that they may be on the verge of splitting up. Although whilst this has been strongly denied, the frontman did state that he feels like he has lost his touch.

Frontman Alex Turner has revealed that he feels that he has lost the ability to write a hit single.

The popular band from Sheffield have had five Top 5 singles between 2005 and 2006, these included their smash debut single I Bet You Look Goof On The Dancefloor. Speaking about that hit single the band stated that they have forgotten how to write songs like this.

Alex Turner is also down about his own personal singing ability stating that he currently can’t even hold a note.

Talking out about this Turner revealed that he has never been a singer but he has always been a song writer. He has revealed that he is working on his singing ability and that he hopes this is now coming along.

The success of the Arctic Monkeys cannot be questioned and it is now hoped that it will continue.
