48 Hour Musical Theatre Challenge For Charity!

It’s a reality show, but not as we know it! This one will be played out on a West End stage as a cast of 140 performers, alongside a full orchestra and production team volunteer for a 48 hour challenge all in aid of charity!

The team will gather at the London Palladium tomorrow (October 16th) to begin rehearsals of George Gershwins ‘I’m Crazy For You’. The show, put on by Showtime Challenge, and Eyebrow Productions will be presented at the Palladium just 48 hours later! What makes this even more amazing, is that the script and score will be rehearsed by the cast in over 20 different places, and will only come together as a whole in front of 2,000 people on show night!

A year in planning, it’s hoped that this show will raise thousands of pounds for the charity Cecily’s Fund, a UK charity which supports Aids orphans in Africa. Their aim is to provide vital education for Children in Zambia, to help prevent the disease. More information on the charity can be found at www.cecilysfund.org

More information about the latest showtime challenge can be found at www.showtimechallenge.co.uk. Eyebrow Productions put on their first showtime challenge in 2004 in Oxford, and has sinced moved to the West End, providing great quality entertainment, at reasonable prices, and of course raising some money for very worthy causes.
