How would you describe your act, in the style of an advert?

I’d probably lie like the rest of them. “Buy our music, it will give you eternal life, and sort out all your problems”. Or “If you are ugly, it will make you beautiful”…. all that kind of stuff.

If you could read one newspaper headline about yourselves in 2010, what would it be?

“SHOCK!! Will and the People turn Buckingham Palace into an all night rave venue, and the queen approves.”

If a radio station gave you control of their shows and playlists for a day, what would you do?

Just play Bob Marley all day.

You decide to plan a launch for your new album/single release, what would your ideal event be?

We will do a gig on a boat down the River Thames.

What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learnt about the music industry?

Signing to Sony BMG taught me that those people know little more than me about music, and how to sell it. I value now, knowing I can do it myself, and therefore properly!

Are there any instruments or other music related skills you’d like to pick up or improve on?

I’d love to play piano well, but Tilley (keys) plays Chopin pieces, and shuts me up! It’s such a beautiful instrument the Piano, its music in front of your eyes in black and white.

You’re asked to design/come up with something to giveaway to fans at your gigs, what would it be?

Rizlas, lighters, and temp tattoos. Things that people lose and pass onto others!!!!

What’s your favourite part of music history? (acts/genres etc)

Freedom, Sublime, Reggae music. I LOVE dance music too, but you need to go to Europe to get the full whammy. They really know how to party out there, in places like Germany, and Serbia.

What was the last thing you googled online?

Tigers fighting with Crocodiles. Some of those clips are amazing. I love seeing crocodiles rip up antelope, I’m not sick, I just love it. It’s like when you drive by a car crash. You have to look. That’s why people slow down. Don’t deny it!!

Have you any funny ‘You’ve Been Framed’ style stories you can share with us?

I’m like a cat, I always land on my feet! Boring….!

Who would you most like to interview and what would you ask them?

I would love to interview Prince Charles, and see if he’s the leader of the illuminate, and if the world is going to end in 2012. Or Ricky Gervais!

Do you still buy CD singles/albums, or is it all about downloads?

I haven’t been in a music store in ages, last time I was in one, I bought just a t-shirt. Sad but true. Who cares anyway, as long as people get the music, and we can keep doing it without having to work in the Co-op!

Who do you think we should watch out music wise this year?

Will and the People without a doubt! I’m not into this whole “folk phenomenon” everyone’s so depressed!

How would you promote the British music scene abroad?

Just tell the truth. We did invent Rock and Roll, but you have to look under the beds, and in the nooks and crannies, to get the real good stuff!
