BBC Music’s picks for the Sound of 2018 have been revealed, with a longlist that features the likes of Billie Eilish, Sigrid, and Pale Waves.
The list, which has been comprised by music experts and former nominees including Stormzy, features 16 acts who have been tipped for greatness in 2018. “Describing the list, BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac said:”Some acts will be brand new to UK audiences and many have already started to make an impact. The best new music released across the globe, curated by NME’s New Music Writer Thomas Smith, and team.
The top five artists on the list will be revealed in January on BBC Radio 1, with one artist announced each day from Monday 8 January.
