Life - Realities of Life - Out Today

    Life
    Realities of Life

    Political Poetry, Social Commentary.

Gun, slums, single baby mums, drugs addicts, drugs pushers,
this is what our estates have become, or so Life would have you
    believe.

In a shift in style from his debut album, Everyday Life, Luton’s
leading MC brings you 19 tracks laced with real issues for real
people living real lives. Covering every topic from drugs, crime,
death, war, and even name checking Bush & Blair, it would be
hard to listen to this album and not relate to a word of it.

With production from Mr Thing alongside the ever faithful DJ
Nappa, Life’s sophomore album combines both intensely deep
lyricism and head-nodding beats. The whole synopsis screaming
out to provoke the listener into thinking about the state of the
    world they’re living in.

This is a ‘true’ hip hop album, for a ‘true’ hip hop fan. The lack of
so called party tracks was a bold move, but tracks like Hush Now,
I Really Care, and What Our Estates Have Become more than
make up for it. Exhibiting verbal dexterity and vocal rhythm few
can match, Realities of Life proves that you can educate and
entertain at the same time, a message many seem to be
    neglecting.

With big plans ahead for Life in the New Year, this could be the
mark with which other conscientious rappers aim to achieve.
