I'm new to this forum business but am really up for hearing suggestions for some new music to listen to. I am really into bands like Muse, Florence & The Machine, Angry Vs The Bear, Blur, Interpol etc. Anything good going around you've heard at the moment? x
I'm listening to Steve Appleton right now. I saw him live and he's amazing and such a talented musician. I have huge respect for an artist like Steve who writes and produces all his own songs.

I've been listening to Edinburgh band Errors at the moment, really cool electronica sounds. Also jonsi, from sigur ros solo stuff is pretty awesome if you like yer pop a bit experimental and interesting.

Musee Mecanique is a new band I really like. Their music is poignantly beautiful that I guarantee you'll have tears in your eyes after listening to their songs. Check out "Like Home," one of my fave.
I'm also checking out some Martina Topley Bird's stuff these days. Her voice is eerily good, has some tinges of upliftiness in it.
I'm a pretty old-fashioned girl so mostly I prefer to listen to old music. Hank Williams, Soft Machine, The Carter Family, Sandy Denny & The Strawbs, John Mayall and Dion are the most-played on my stereo recently.
