I have an Intel Pentium Dual processor which is supposed to be at 2.4 GHz but when I ran a system check to play Sims 3 (it keeps crashing) it says that it is only 2.39 GHz! Please any advice is appreciated my Sims 3 keeps crashing my computer and it is very frustrating. Everything else on my computer meets the requirements except for the CPU speed. Thank you.

you have to speed up your clock speed.
If you have no idea about this then don't do anything with this.A minor mistake could spoil your processor.

yo alb3rt

there is no difference btw 2.4 and 2.39
did you knew that in programming and computers 1 is represented as 0.9999999999999 and the same goes with all the numbers...
also different software are more or less precise when it comes to numbers so I dont think is anything wrong with your processor.

My first hint why your game is crushing is because of not enough RAM. How much do you have pls and how much does the game requires?
